Orkney’s 5000 year old UNESCO World Heritage Sites

We visit the beautifully preserved and romantically situated Skara Brae, two atmospheric stone circles,  the Ring of Brodgar and the Standing Stones of Stenness.

We can visit Maeshowe. This tomb is accessed by a 10 metre long, 1 metre high passageway.

For 6 weeks in summer, we can visit  the world famous excavations at the Ness of Brodgar. These are revolutionising our understanding of Orkney 5,000 years ago.
